BamHop Sports Briefing January 23-30, 2019 Today's Top Story: Arizona Cardinals Wide Reciever Larry Fitzgerald returning for a 16th season Source: NFL, Reuters, Associated Press, NPR News WR Larry Fitzgerald is returning to the Arizona Cardinals for a 16th season, after agreeing on a one-year contract. The Cardinals took Fitzgerald with the No. 3 overall selection of the 2004 NFL Draft, and he’s put together a Hall of Fame career. An 11-time Pro Bowl selection, he is first among active players in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. On the career list, he ranks second behind WR Jerry Rice for yards and is third, trailing Rice and TE Tony Gonzalez, in receptions. He needs 23 catches to pass TE Gonzalez on the list. In 2018, he appeared in all 16 games and caught 69 passes for 734 yards and six touchdowns.

January 22, 2019 - Mitchell Trubisky selected to his first Pro Bowl

BamHop Sports Briefing January 22, 2019 Today's Top Story: Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky selcted to first Pro Bowl (Source: NFL) CHICAGO, IL -  After a trying rookie season, Trubisky's turnaround has culminated in a trip to Orlando. Goff, of course, is unavailable for Sunday's Pro Bowl because the Rams advanced to the Super Bowl. With first-year head coach Matt Nagy directing the Chicago Bears' offense, the 24-year-old Trubisky completed 66.6 percent of his passes for 3,223 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, each representing a significant increase from his rookie campaign. Most importantly, the Bears went 11-3 in his starts after winning just four of his 12 starts in 2017. Trubisky is the first Bears QB to make the Pro Bowl since Jim McMahon in 1986.

London will host four of the clashes while Mexico City plays host to one 2019 bout. The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers will play in Mexico City. These are the four London games: Carolina vs. Tampa Bay, Chicago vs. Oakland, Cincinnati vs. Los Angeles, Houston vs. Jacksonville.
